The forecast was for "dreich" weather so suitably dressed in jeans, long sleeved tops with waterproofs we headed down to the Custom House Quay in Greenock.Of course the sunset the night before should have given us a clue as to the real forecast. On closer investigation we saw something in his mouth, flapping its wings. We gave chase and as he dropped his little victim and it flew through the house we realised it was a pipistrel bat! We had a fabulous time in a beautiful villa away from the tourist area but close enough to be easy to get to. We walked our legs down to stumps, shopped till we dropped and relaxed and swam in our lovely hot pool every day.
